Work Experience
Gallery Director of Art Agenda, Jakarta
I worked at Art Agenda for 4 years, first as a Gallery Assistant, then as the Gallery Manager, and for the last one and a half years as the Jakarta Director.
To me, working as a gallery director means blending creativity with strategic planning. There is always a lot of actions to do in the day-to-day work; I could be visiting an artist's studio, having a meeting for an upcoming art fair, revising poster for marketing, writing a curatorial statement, or engaging collectors for private sales. Seems a lot at first, but it's mostly fun once you nailed it.
About Art Agenda
Art Agenda is a gallery and art advisory that specialises in post-war and modern Asian art. Art Agenda was founded in 2016 and presently has gallery spaces in Jakarta and Singapore. Alongside presentations of post-war and modern Asian art, Art Agenda also presents exhibitions featuring contemporary Indonesian artists.
Online Auction Manager of Annexe Asia
I am now working as an online auction manager of annexe.asia. Since I am working remotely, I have to organise a lot of online meetings both with the developers of the website, and the internal team. I ensure the auction sales run smoothly without any hiccups and both consignors and buyers are satisfied with our platform.
About Annexe Asia
Launched in January 2025, ANNEXE is not an auction house in the traditional sense—we run (innovative) auctions online, period. Being an auction “house” implies we have our own interests to serve. We would rather serve client's interests.
